Dr. Spielberg grew up in Northfield, New Jersey and completed her pre-dental training at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. In 1997, Dr. Spielberg received her D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and in 1999, she received her Certificate in Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Spielberg opened her practice in Apex, North Carolina in 2000 and has been creating beautiful smiles ever since. She prides her treatment philosophy on maintaining facial harmony and preserving patient profile while creating an exceptional bite. Each year she takes an excess of the required amount of continuing education hours and stays current with the latest in orthodontic technology. She enjoys the ability to make a difference in people’s lives and loves seeing the confidence an improved smile gives to her patients.
Dr. Spielberg currently lives in Apex with her husband, Dr. Todd Garcia, who is a practicing general dentist; their daughter Courtney; and their son, Ethan. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Wake County Dental Society and the North Carolina Association of Orthodontists. In addition, Dr. Spielberg is a competitive tennis player. Once an NCAA-All American, she is still very active in many United States Tennis Association leagues and tournaments. She also enjoys her involvement as an active member in Dickinson College’s local alumni club and is a local representative of Dickinson’s admissions committee.
